About Caqtus

Caqtus is an independent modelmaking and prototyping business based in Windlesham, Surrey, with over 30 years' experience producing models, prototypes and presentation pieces for designers, agencies and manufacturers.

My work combines traditional hands-on modelmaking with modern manufacturing techniques, including 3D CAD, CNC machining, fabrication, spray-painting and high-quality finishing.

Projects range from packaging and product models to one-off prototypes and bespoke pieces. Some arrive as finished 3D data ready for production, while others start with little more than a drawing, sketch or idea. I can take a project through the various stages required to turn that information into an accurate, well-finished physical model.

Over the years I've worked with many design agencies on commercially sensitive projects and understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality. I'm happy to work under NDAs where required. Based in Windlesham, Surrey, Caqtus works with clients throughout the UK.
